At Cleveland Terrace Dental Practice, we offer a wide range of dental treatments, including general and cosmetic dentistry in a relaxed, friendly, and caring atmosphere. All our dentists have the latest professional training to keep up to date with the latest techniques.
Before your first visit, we will send you a welcome pack, giving details of the Cleveland Terrace Dental Practice and a confidential medical history form for you to complete and bring along. Some medical conditions or tablets that you may be taking may be relevant to your dental treatment.
There is also a smile profile for you to complete so that you can tell us about any concerns regarding the health, appearance and function of your teeth, gums and jaws.
We ask that you attend your first visit about 10 minutes prior to your appointment time so that we can collect all of the necessary records.
When you meet the dentist, they will run through your details with you and confirm any of your concerns.
You will then have a thorough examination of the teeth, gums and soft tissues to check your mouth is healthy and to include a check for mouth cancer. We will also check your jaw joints.
We may need to take X-rays to show some of your teeth. We use state-of-the-art digital X-rays, which we can clearly display on the computer screen.
We will then run through our findings with you, provide treatment options for you and give you an estimate of costs. On some occasions, where treatment options are more complex, we may need to see you again, for example, to take impressions to make models of your teeth or to take photographs of your teeth before presenting treatment options and costs to you.
