Nicola Mulcrone - Principal Dentist

Originally from Northern Ireland, Nicola obtained her BDS degree from the University of Dundee in 1999. During her time there, she also gained a Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree, in which she worked in the cancer research laboratory, which provided a good insight into the science behind clinical treatment. Nicola moved to Darlington to complete her postgraduate training ‘as a temporary measure’ and a husband, two daughters, and a dog, 27 years later, she’s still here! Nicola joined Cleveland Terrace in 2008 and became a partner in 2015. After completing various Advanced Restorative and Whitening courses, Nicola enjoys all aspects of dentistry, in particular cosmetic dentistry and composite bonding. She also enjoys orthodontics and offers both Clear Aligners and Quick Straight Teeth braces. It makes her day to see the joy on someone’s face, seeing their transformed smile for the first time and seeing the confidence it gives them. Outside of work, Nicola loves getting into the outdoors, especially hiking in the Lake District with Millie, her spaniel. She’s also a dab hand at baking a birthday cake and likes all things creative. Nicola loves travelling and seeing different countries, a passion ignited after working and travelling in Australia in 2002.
